Allow It Observes Reality
It’s Reality, Jim…but not as we know it.
What does reality really show you?
It’s a very simple question. Too simple even?
Many of our struggles in life start whenever we argue with reality.
That argument happens in our thoughts.
We question how long something is taking, with someone’s behaviour, with change, disappointments and uncertainty.
Ask yourself: is any arguing good for us?
Yet we do it all the time.
Life carries on whether we like it or not. It doesn’t care, it has no emotions, no feelings.
It just is.
Allowance helps you to acknowledge what is factual, what is true. What is.
Would that be passivity?
Definitely not. Seeing things as they really are is our only basis for making wise choices.
When you’re sailing, you don’t ask the wind to change. Your skill develops by using the wind you have.
Life works the same way. We become better at it by working with what we’re given. Learning as we go along… without realising it. One thing though, the headwinds continue till we learn the lessons they present.
Many of us battle against circumstances for years, trying to make them fit the story we wish could be true.
Reality speaks.
Hope interrupts.
Allowance listens.
Truth occurs in a series of whispers well before the penny drops and reveals the Eureka moment.
The most important truths are often the quietest.
Trying to sway events to our own way of thinking is draining. We use so much energy lobbying circumstances to fit our agenda that often we’re too tired to join the dots.
We debate the facts, as life continues to offer clear information every hour, every day.
Allowance helps to turn the tide with a simple starter: The holy trinity of Allowing:
1. Observe first.
2. Interpret second.
3. Respond last.
These elementary steps will improve the quality of every decision we make.
Clarity takes charge instead of emotion.
There is so much freedom in building a life on truth.
Allowance is so deceptively powerful yet so peaceful as you save so much energy never needing to mould life into the shape you demand.
The irony is reality is there working for us, helping us. It is constantly showing us the world as it is.
When we get real ~we get wisdom.
Allow it.

This is very powerful and I'm learning to allow this way of thinking and being as a leader. 💗 Thanks Leo!
